RGV Open rules
The RGV Open uses IBJJF rules, with no advantages. Every competitor is divided by age, weight and belt, and all of our referees are black belts.
How are points scored?
Points follow the IBJJF rules:
| Position or move | Points |
|---|---|
| Takedown | 2 |
| Sweep | 2 |
| Knee on stomach | 2 |
| Guard pass | 3 |
| Mount | 4 |
| Back control | 4 |
No advantages: advantages are not scored at the RGV Open.
The full rules are in the IBJJF rule book.
